"Comfort retriever" Has been trade marked and we can no longer use the term to market or sell puppies. The new term we are using is "Comfort Golden"  puppies come in various forms.......Some people use 25% poodle, while others use various types of spaniels. We have the capabilities to use the 25% poodle option periodically for lower shedding comforts. We are trying to use the "right" cockers with the "right" goldens to recreate or rather down size Americas favorite pet - "The Golden Retriever" as with anything else, this process does take a great deal of time and effort and selecting the best tempered animals. Once a shelter volunteer said to me " temperament isn't everything" I said to her "Lady......you don't have 5 kids" As a mother of 5 children, temperament IS everything! Okay, well it is #1. Then health follows closely in second place. #3 can then be appearance as anyone can love a SWEET ugly dog but a beautiful crab apple who can bear?? Just like people eh?
Well we will only have limited Comfort golden puppies as we will be focusing more on the "miniature golden retrievers" for the long term.
